Homecoming 2008 was a time for Actives, Associates, Alumni and families to come together to celebrate SRU and college life! Along with our Actives, and new Associates, there were a number of alumni taking part in the weekend's activities!
The Rock Vegas themed celebrations were kicked off by a fully catered breakfast courtesy of the Alumni Association and Steven Spedaleire BY 240. The corner of Franklin and Normal was THE place to view the FIRST place in Greeks float by Theta Xi! The Actives build a "top hat" float with the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. The day was absolutely beautiful, although the SRU football couldn't captilize on a perfect day and lost to Edinboro. The fantastic food added to the great day!
Underlining the fact that we are the premier fraternity on campus, our very own brother, Andrew Deriggi BY 377 won Homecoming King!The families of many of the Alumni filled the weekend legacies and the sounds of laughter coming from the air bounce provided by Scott Valantine BY 235. Kids and "kids" (see above) both enjoyed the fun!
